For the home roaster
Make your next roast worth repeating.
A good cup shouldn’t be a lucky accident. Turn the beans you have into a blend with a plan, then use what you taste to shape the next batch.
Your beans. Your taste. A little help connecting the two.

The Sunday batch
The Honey gives this blend its sweet base. Smaller shares of the two washed coffees bring citrus and fruit.
Why these threeExplore the reasoning
This example puts the caramel-led coffee first, with the brighter coffees in supporting roles. Your own suggestion uses your inventory, preferences and recorded tastings.
There’s a good blend in that cupboard.
Percolate is a coffee blend design and roast tracking app for home roasters. Plan a blend from your green beans, record the roast, and capture what you taste. Your inventory, recipes and tasting notes stay together for the next batch.
How it works
Every batch gives you something to build on.
01 · Stock
Start with the beans on your shelf.
Add your green beans and how much you have left. Ask for a blend that fits your batch, or build one yourself. When you finish a roast, Percolate updates your stock.
A cupboard, accounted for
02 · Roast
Stay with the roast. Keep the record.
Start the timer, mark first crack, and record the drop. The important moments stay with the batch, ready for when you taste it. You bring the roasting judgement; Percolate keeps the notes.

Keep the moments that matter, while your attention stays on the beans.
03 · Taste
You know what you like. Start there.
Was it sweet? Too sharp? Something you’d make again? Rate five qualities and pick the flavours you recognise. You can taste the same batch again as it rests, without replacing your earlier notes.

04 · Refine
Give the next batch a better starting point.
Your blend designer can read your past roasts and tastings alongside your current stock. Ask for more sweetness, a different balance, or another take on a favourite. The last cup becomes part of the next decision.
From tasting to next batch
What did you like? What would you change? Your recorded tastings give the next blend somewhere to start.
Your notes stay connected
Made for your roast
Your preferences belong in the recipe.
The starting point is what you have and what you want to drink.
Your actual stock
Blend quantities are checked against your recorded inventory, so you can weigh out what’s suggested.
Your caffeine choice
Choose regular, decaf or half-caff. The blend is checked against that choice before it’s saved.
Your organic preference
Set organic-only in your profile and suggestions use beans you’ve marked as organic.
Your kind of coffee
Tell Percolate how you brew and what you’re aiming for. An espresso drinker and a filter drinker needn’t start with the same brief.

What is Percolate?
Percolate is a web app for home coffee roasters. It brings green bean inventory, AI-assisted and manual blend design, roast timing, and tasting notes into one place. You can use your past roasts and tastings to inform your next blend.
Do I need a particular coffee roaster?
Percolate does not connect to or control your roasting machine. You record roast events yourself, so you can use it alongside your own roasting setup. It provides general blend and roast guidance, not machine-specific power settings or automatic temperature curves.
Can I make a blend from beans I already own?
Yes. Add your green beans and their available weights, then request a blend for your batch size. Suggested ingredients and quantities are checked against your recorded stock. You can also build a blend manually by weight or percentage.
How do my tasting notes affect future blends?
The blend designer can read your recorded roasts and tastings together with your inventory and preferences. Those records give it context for your next request. Suggestions are a starting point to test in the cup, not a guarantee of a particular flavour.
Can I use Percolate on my phone?
Yes. Percolate runs in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer. You can add it to your phone’s home screen for quick access. An internet connection is required to load and save your records and request blend designs.
How much does Percolate cost?
The planned subscription is NZ$30 per year, with a 14-day trial. Subscriptions and trial billing are not available yet. Final purchase and trial terms will be shown before you subscribe.
